Scholarships
Now open for application, the college is offering a number of scholarships in 2012.
- Young Leaders Scholarship (YLS) – This scholarship recognises the ‘all-rounder’ through a student’s academic potential, movement ability, leadership qualities and future career direction. The scholarship is awarded to an equal percentage of students across all degree programs. Scholarship applications are received in January for returning students and for new students.
- Scholars Award – This new scholarship category recognises outstanding academic achievement on entry to ACPE. This scholarship award is assessed via application and ATAR score or transcripts. This scholarship is awarded to the highest new student applicant(s). In addition, there will be up to five Young Scholars Awards presented for Year 2 current students. If at an appropriate level, determined by GPA, these will be awarded to approximately the top five scholars from all degree programs.
- Community Scholarships – This scholarship recognises outstanding potential and provides support for new applicants who are recognised Indigenous students, students experiencing financial hardship and/or displaced students with support from a community organisation. To retain the scholarship, the students must agree to a program involving ADO support, regular meetings with the Course Convenor each semester and students must maintain at least a passing grade for all units of study.
JUST RELEASED New Scholarship Categories (Jan 2012)
- Regional – Targeting students from regional, outer and remote NSW, this new scholarship recognises 'all-rounder' students living in these areas who have a desire to move to Sydney to undertake their education.
- Woman in Sport and Business – A brand new category for 2012, this scholarship recognises ambitious woman who want to pursue a successful career in sport and business. Based on academic merits, leadership potential of female applicants.

Application process
The scholarship application process can only begin once an application to study at ACPE has been received. Scholarship applicants are required to compose a vision statement about their intended degree of study.
2012 Scholarship Applications
Scholarships for both new and continuing Students are now open for 2012.
Closing dates for applications:
- Continuing student applications: Closed as of Friday 20th January, 2012
- New Student Applications: Closed as of Friday 10th February, 2012
NB: New Students applying for a scholarship in the Bachelor of Dance Education degree must also complete a dance audition on Monday the 13th of February 2012 at the ACPE Campus Dance Studio at 12:30pm - 1:30pm.

Commitment and obligations
Recipients of all scholarships are expected to meet the terms, conditions, and procedures described in the Scholarship Policy, in the Scholarship Agreement, in guidelines published by the Scholarship Committee, and in the Student Code of Conduct. It is anticipated that scholarship holders will take on leadership roles in the college community.

Applications for scholarships close approximately four weeks before enrolment. Scholarship holders are normally expected to maintain a normal full-time study load (four units of study each semester) for the duration of their studies.
