PE Teaching

Teachers of Physical Education & Human Movement are employed in range of educational environments, principally in government and independent schools

PE Teachers instruct students in sports, recreational activities, and healthy lifestyle issues. Individuals in this role are tasked with the safe and inclusive promotion of students’ physical fitness, as well as the encouragement of their self-esteem and interpersonal skills. 

To become a PE teacher requires 4 years of training, combining 2 courses –
