About this course
This course is designed for teachers or coaches wanting to improve their knowledge and competency in the sport of cricket. It is a 3 hour practical workshop designed by Alex Blackwell (Australian Cricket Captain) addressing the areas of skill, technique, rules and basic cricket tactics.
It is an introductory course, ideal for a teacher or coach wanting some ideas on effective drills and fun activities for novices. The course will be conducted at Bressington Park (or at ACPE in wet weather) at Sydney Olympic Park at a variety of time slots.
Participants will receive a certificate of participation and resources which they can take away and implement in their own schools or clubs.
The course is accredited with the NSW Institute of Teachers and addresses
element one of the professional teaching standards.
