About this course

This course is designed for teachers or coaches wanting to improve their knowledge and competency in the sport of basketball.

It is a three hour practical workshop addressing the areas of skill, technique, rules, and basic basketball tactics. It is an introductory course, ideal for a teacher or coach wanting some ideas on effective drills and fun activities for novices.

The course is conducted at ACPE's campus at Sydney Olympic Park. Participants receive a certificate of participation, and resources they can take away and implement. The course is accredited with the NSW Institute of Teachers and addresses element one of the professional teaching standards.
