Graduate Diploma of Education
This course is designed to meet the academic and professional needs of prospective physical education teachers. The course is designed to target development of those attributes and capacities that are a prerequisite for entry into the teaching profession – specifically teaching physical education, health and personal development.
The theory and practical competencies acquired through undertaking course units are extended in a practical, school-based context through the ACPE's professional experience program. This teaching course provides students with a diverse range of practical experiences designed to accelerate professional skills sets, as well as the values and understandings that are the hallmark of the professional graduate teacher.
The graduate diploma is fully accredited by the NSW Institute of Teachers.
