IT Services
The Information Technology Services (ITS) at ACPE provides IT facilities and services for staff and students at the College. ITS manages and maintains an extensive network of high-end personal computers, workstations, telephone system, and servers. ITS also provides support to a variety of peripheral equipment including laser printers, scanners, photocopiers, digital video/cameras and LCD projection systems.
The available IT services are:
- All students are required to complete an Application for Computer Account Access Form and lodged to the ITS office. The ITS office is located on the ground floor next to the entrance. Once completed, you are able to access acpe computers.
- ACPE facilitates four computer laboratories. One is located in the Robert Dunnet Library and is designated for student work and research. The remaining three laboratories are located on the ground floor in A3, C4 and C5 (student services area).
- Each student is allocated 50 MB of space to save their College work on the ACPE server.
- The Computer Account is also linked to an ACPE Email Account. Students have an individual email account, formatted as studentnumber@acpe.edu.au
- Students can access their emails through Webmail (Internet browser based program) on College computers or externally using their internet service provider account.
- Printing from these labs will require a separate Print and Copy Account available upon Computer Access Account activation. New Students will be allocated a $2.00 allowance on their Print and Copy Account for their course work and study. Students will use the Student ID Card to recharge their Print and Copy Account. Recharges of the Print and Copy Account are available from the PCEFTPOS station located in the library.
- During the academic year the IT Help Desk is available from:
8:30am to 7:00pm - Monday
8:30am to 5:00pm - Tuesday
8:30am to 7:00pm - Wednesday
8:30am to 5:00pm - Thursday
8:30am to 5:00pm - Friday
