Joining the Library
ACPE Alumni are welcome to take up library membership. To join the Library you must complete a library registration form, and provide or have a photograph taken for your membership card. You must also present a photo ID and have proof of your Alumni status.
If you are unable to visit the Library in person, please call to make alternate arrangements.
Most Alumni members of the Library choose to transfer their student membership to an alumni membership on completion of their studies. Just ask Library staff at the Circulation Desk for assistance.
The annual fee for Alumni is $100 (a 50% discount on the usual community borrowing rate). This can be paid in cash, credit card or by EFTPOS.
Alumni members can borrow 5 items for 2 weeks however items in Closed Reserve and Shorts Loans are available for use within the Library only as these are works that are in heavy demand by students for course work.

Reference Collection & Other Restricted Collections
Items in Reference, Serials and Closed Access collections must be used within the Library. Requested items can be photocopied - within the restrictions of the Copyright Act - or can be scanned to email.
The Library has licensed access to a wide range of electronic resources including journals, ebooks, and online databases. Access is available within the Library to the majority of these resources. Remote access is available to a selected range of online databases:

Access to all above databases is via a login provided to alumni.
Reference & Research Assistance
Reference and research assistance is provided by highly skilled staff and can be provided in person at the Reference Desk.
Fee based services, including photocopying and Interlibrary Loans are available on request.
